On The Kelly Clarkson Show, she was interviewing Nick Jonas. They were getting into it about on-stage disasters when Jonas shared his own. While rehearsing for The Last Five Years, he has a pretty hilarious situation.
Misjudging just how elastic his pants were, he made a move that stretched them to the limit. As he jumped up, disaster struck. He noted that everyone was watching the rehearsal, from the composer to the pianist. But he overexerted the stitching on the pants and ripped them in front of the whole cast.
The show must go on, and he safety pinned them back together and continued with the show. This reminded Kelly Clarkson of one of her own wardrobe malfunctions that makes Jonas' look positively PG.

Having a good laugh at Nick Jonas's story, Kelly Clarkson shared how own on-stage wardrobe malfunction. "I had something happen on tour once where my skirt, the clip broke and it dropped, and I dropped so fast," she told her guests.
But it wasn't as simple as a quick skirt slip; it was so much worse for Kelly Clarkson. "And I was like, the one night I don't have... And I dropped to the floor so fast. Picked it up, somebody had to run out," she told them. But the real kicker came when she told them just how much could have been on show if she hadn't called to the floor so fast.
"Look, long story short, I was commando. And I was like, it was a long skirt, and something happened to where it was like, 'Oh, okay." Kelly Clarkson had a wardrobe malfunction while going commando on stage. People have come to her show for her music, not a sneak peak of her butt.
I expect she doesn't do too many shows without her underwear anymore, or at least makes sure her overclothes are secured properly.
