This week marked the 1000th episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show and her long-awaited return. She had taken a leave of absence due to personal reasons and has recently returned, alluding to her absence during her 1000th episode speech.

Over the course of 1000 episodes it is only expected that Kelly Clarkson would need a couple of days off here and there. It's an incredible run, beginning back in 2019, and still going strong now. She has taken the odd day off previously, but for some reason, this time got people talking.
Not that it's anyone's business why she took time off The Kelly Clarkson Show. But, nosy people will do what nosy people do and they demand answers. I am sure they would feel great if everyone in the office expected all the gory details when they didn't turn up to work.
All that was revealed was that she had a personal family emergency. This was more than enough information for most, but not for all. People took to the socials to find out the intricacies. However, as is her right, she kept silent.

Speaking to her audience, Kelly Clarkson thanked her fans and staff for the lengthy run of the show. She drags in millions of viewers and has kept people tuning in day after day. "For 1,000 episodes, we have laughed together, we have cried together with beautiful stories, sang together with some people, danced together, celebrated and competed together," she said.
"And along the way, we found comfort in one another," Clarkson said in her heartfelt speech. "And looking back, we are all incredibly proud of what we've built and the community we've created." Finally, she said, "I am grateful to everyone who has been a part of this journey. It has been such a cool time. Thank you so much."
Referring, perhaps, to her absence, Kelly Clarkson said, "We created a community and supported each other through a lot of ups and downs." She then went off script to say, "A lot of ups and downs personally as well."
As it stands, I think she will keep her personal life as just that, personal. She has every right to do so. People seem to forget that just because they have watched Kelly Clarson for 1000 episodes, she does still have a modicum of privacy.
