Keith Urban is reportedly concerned over his wife Nicole Kidman's refusal to keep her promise of slowing down this year.

Only last month, Nicole Kidman told The Hollywood Reporter that she'd be slowing down in 2025. The actor had a packed 2024, where she also had to deal with the passing of her mother.

She said that this year is "actually not as crazy. I was much more out there last year. This year I have Holland, I have Nine Perfect Strangers, and then I'm off for the rest of year. So, oh well!"

With these projects wrapped, you'd think she would now be enjoying her time off with her kids. Well, that's not the case. She's been seen on the set of Margo's Got Money Troubles, a TV series set to release next year that she's both starring in and producing.

Either we're already in 2026, or she's gone back on her promise to Keith Urban.

A friend of the couple spoke to New Idea, where they spilled the country singer's concerns over his wife over-exerting herself.

"It's extraordinary. Not even a month later, and already she's back on set," they said.

Keith Urban Worried For His Wife

"Keith isn't angry, but he's worried and understandably very frustrated. He knows how much Nic loves her job, but she keeps moving the goalposts. Instead of putting herself first-something he and the kids need her to do-she's putting work first every time," shared the friend.

"Nicole's still not had a chance to recover from the shock of losing her mum in September - and with Keith on tour, he isn't around to make sure she's at least eating and sleeping right."

"Nicole's pace isn't just about acting. She's involved in fashion campaigns, charities, and she's always there to help out her mates," the friend continued. "She thrives on work - it's her escape - but Keith's deep fear is how long she can keep up this pace and at what cost."

The friend concluded, saying, "He sees how it's draining her, especially after such a tough 12 months. He just wants her to prioritise her health and their family before she pushes herself too far."
