Ingenius Fans Snuck A Fake Baby Filled With Booze Into Stagecoach

With the price of festival tickets and the following cost of food and drink, it's no surprise people are coming up with crazy ways to sneak in booze.

I've seen some pretty wild methods for getting things past concert security before. Strapping wine bags to body parts was always a classic, and there was even a spate of people burying bottles on festival grounds before they opened. However, one couple has taken it to a new extreme and used a fake baby full of booze to get into Stagecoach with a reasonably priced drink.

The plan was simple. Turn a fake baby into a bottle for booze. The hollow toy was watertight and had a drinking nozzle on the head. The stomach opened up to be filled, and looked realistic enough.

They simply strapped it to their front and strolled past security. With a little baby cowboy hat hiding the nozzle, nobody would ever know. Furthermore, they even themed it for the Stagecoach festival, and every day was a new outfit for the booze filled baby.

Fake Baby Is A Flawless Booze Bottle

And it went off without a hitch. Nobody suspects the couple carrying a baby to be booze hounds. To top it off, nobody expects anybody to be tipping a baby upside down and sucking whiskey out of its head. The plan was flawless.

It's no surprise they needed to sneak the baby booze bottle into Stagecoach. The general admission tickets with a shuttle cost $719. For a three-day festival, that is obscene. I would be finding ways to sneak in food on top of that, too.

Looking at some of the videos coming out of Stagecoach, the prices are criminal. A tray of loaded fries comes to $23.99. A simple sandwich will run up a tab of $26. It's no wonder those people had to sneak in a fake baby full of booze. Also, reports indicate that beer costs $18 before tax.

At this point, if you're not finding innovative ways to sneak booze into festivals, you're willingly being robbed. I love a drink at a festival as much as the next, but there comes a point where I will go sober, or have to find other ways to get intoxicated.
