Lainey Wilson is teasing a new song. The country music superstar just posted a clip of a song, in a video she shares on social media. While it seems at first that it's just Wilson on a plane, the song reveals she is teasing a brand-new track.

"My head's 30,000 feet in the clouds," Wilson sings. "Knowing 20 minutes from now / I'll be somewhere over Laredo / Dreaming about those rodeo nights / Laid there on the banks of the Rio / New silver buckle on jeans next to mine / Couple wrong for each other / Lone Star crossin' lovers / Born to get gone from the get-go / But you're on my mind every time I'm chasin' this neon rainbow / Somewhere over Laredo."
Wilson captions the video by saying, "My head's 30,000 feet in the clouds," leaving fans to speculate what could be coming next.
Lyrics of the new song aside, Wilson is happily in love. She is currently planning her wedding to her fiancé, Devlin "Duck" Hodges, whom she has been with for more than four years.
Lainey Wilson at the ACMs
Wilson is heading into tonight's ACM Awards with seven nominations, including one for the night's highest honor, Entertainer of the Year. Wilson won in the category in 2024. Perhaps surprisingly, Wilson does not have the most nominations this year, with that honor going to Ella Langley.
But if anyone thinks Wilson is jealous of Langley, they would be wrong. In fact, Wilson reveals she has been a wealth of knowledge for rising female artists like Langley and Megan Moroney, doing all she can to help them succeed.
"At times, I wanna just pour out as much as I possibly can to them and be like, 'Don't you miss this moment,' Wilson tells iHeartCountry. 'Be present. Do whatever you gotta do to soak it in and celebrate these times, and then get ready for the next one because it's going to be right around the corner quicker than you can even realize it just happened.'"
Wilson's numerous nominations include Female Artist of the Year, which she shares with Langley and Moroney. Wilson will also perform during the ACM Awards. The show airs at 8:00 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime.
