If you're hungry for more brilliant country tunes after you're done with the five below, why not check out last week's list?

As you can expect by now, our Spotify playlist has been updated with these five songs. So don't ever worry, we've got you sorted.

Let's dive in.

1. Borrow My Boots

"Borrow My Boots" by Tami Nelson (featuring Ashley McBryde, Grace Bowers, and Shelly Fairchild) is a country banger you can't ignore. The moment it played, I knew it was a contender for the top spot. And the moment it finished, I knew it belonged here.

It's a fun classic country song that I don't think I'll ever skip when it plays. It's great for any mood you're in, and provides the vibes whether you're feeling high or low.

2. Round and Round

"Round and Round" by Alex Williams released today, and I already know it's going right into my personal playlist. This rolling smokey country tune is catchy in a subtle way.

I made sure to check myself for recency bias, but I couldn't not put it on this list. It's a brilliant song.

3. Dr. Dealer

"Dr. Dealer" by Caitlin Cannon is an undeniable bob that reminds me of the groovy 80s. With a tune that rolls your shoulders and taps your feet for you, this song feels at home both on this list and any classic playlists you've got out there.

It hides the more sinister lyrics about pills and drug addiction behind a hypnotic beat, which we don't really see that much these days.

4. I Swear

"I Swear" by Yelawolf, J. Michael Phillips, and Taysty, challenges the country by blending it with a little rap in a way I can really appreciate. It reminds me of Joey Myron's "Watch Me Burn," which took the top spot of my very first list.

I love the swampy and hypnotic feeling of the song. I just wish they hit a little harder at times, but alas, it's a song I can't get enough of.

5. Hikikomori

"Hikikomori" is another poetic and vivid masterpiece by Jack Van Cleaf. His ability to write is not only unique, but is pretty genius. It's a slow and mellow yet powerful song that swoons you into a trance.

It's my favorite from his latest album, JVC. He really has a way with his words, and I can appreciate that.

Best Album — Love Addict

Love Addict by Caitlin Cannon released what I think is the best album of this week. It was a pretty tough selection, but I enjoyed listening to Love Addict the whole way through.

With 10 tracks of Caitlin Cannon goodness, you'll find some raunchy tunes, some romantic beats, and some mellow moods. I appreciate the more 'out there' tracks from the record, myself. "Dr. Dealer" is a personal favourite.

There we have it! Remember, instead of going through the effort of adding these songs to your playlists, just save our one and thank me later.
