Another week has rolled by, cowboys and cowgirls. But that means another week of excellent new country songs.

Last week's list was pretty damn tough to make, and the same goes for this week. You guys really need to stop putting out so much good music, it tears me in half to only choose five for these lists.
As always, WOC's juicy playlist has been updated with the five songs on this week's list. Make sure to save the playlist so you've always got the best of the latest country music on standby.
Let's begin.
1. American Trail
"American Trail" by Dylan Gossett is a haunting and plodding song about hardship. As much as I struggled to make this list, "American Trail" was always going to take the top spot.
It's groovy, but in a subtly sinister way. Providing an almost infectious beat, it's hard not to follow through with your shoulders when you tap your feet.
2. Bad Habits
"Bad Habits" by Brandon Wayne is a killer tune. The raw, high-energy track eases you in before hitting hard with the electric guitars. Although the song leans closer to the metal side of things, the twang and country charm are undeniable.
I'm typically more partial to hard-hitting songs like this, and "Bad Habits" provides the rock n' roll I know and love.
3. Girl With A Gun
"Girl With A Gun" from HARDY's EP COUNTRY! has grown on me a lot. At first, I sort of brushed it off compared to the other songs on the EP. But I couldn't ignore it for long.
I think it's another example of HARDY's skill as a songwriter, and it has become my favorite from the EP. It's slow and heartfelt, which is something we all need sometimes.
4. Booze And Cigarettes
"Booze And Cigarettes" by The Steeldrivers is another example of the band sticking to what they do best. It's not as fast-paced as their getaway thriller "Outrun," but the beat is pacey nonetheless.
It's a real fun song that's a joy to listen to. Simple as.
5. Mountain Home
"Mountain Home" by Jesse Daniel is a relaxed country song that'll round off this week's list. It's a super chill country song that pays homage to living in the mountains with the family.
Everyone needs a song that reminds them of home, and "Mountain Home" may become yours. It's a warm and relaxing song that paints a beautifully vivid picture.
Best Album — Love & Light
Love & Light by Maddie & Tae is a pretty stacked album with various songs that showcase how well the pair sing together. Each 16 of their songs bring something a little different to the table.
My personal favorite is "Love & Light," I just love how enthusiastic and upbeat it is. You'll be occupied for the better part of an hour listening to everything they have to offer. I'm sure you'll find a new favorite somewhere.
