Donald Trump Believes He's The Reason Taylor Swift Isn't "Hot" Anymore

"Taylor Swift isn't a hot topic anymore" is a deranged hot take. Arguably the biggest celebrity in the world and the most rabid fanbase in music and she's just not that big of a deal anymore? It's certainly a bold stance to take, but President Donald Trump has never been one to back down, no matter how irrational it seems.

Perhaps it's because his job requires him to be in the spotlight almost all the time. Conversely, Swift gets to relatively stay out of the mix for once. At least, she's trying to, despite getting dragged into Blake Lively's insane drama. She's taking a break after her monumental tour and her boyfriend's offseason. But none of that matters to Trump. In fact, he believes that it's his work in public blasting her that's cooled off her celebrity status.

Donald Trump Takes Credit for Taylor Swift's Quieter Celebrity Status

Recently, the U.S. president invited the Philadelphia Eagles over to the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl win. There, he mocks Taylor Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs in their loss. "It was an incredible game. A little surprising, but right from the beginning in the first quarter of the big game - which I was there. I watched in person. I was there along with Taylor Swift. How did that work out? How did that one work out?" Trump quips.

Now, he takes to his Truth Social account to trash the pop star once again. This time, he makes an absurd claim that ever since he's took his stance against her, her celebrity has waned accordingly. "Has anyone noticed that, since I said "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT," she's no longer "HOT?"" Trump posts.

I'm going to sound like a broken record here, but good grief. Why is the president so online like he doesn't have a country to run? Maybe it's for the best. If Trump is too busy typing his thumbs away on Truth Social, maybe he won't make as many rash decisions.
