Eric Church had a cheeky and surprising reply to a fan who shared that he was going to get married. An answer that his wife (nor the fan's bride-to-be) may not exactly appreciate.

Recently, Eric Church hit up his Nashville bar, Chiefs, to keep the party going. This weekend, the singer had been celebrating the release of his amazing new album, Evangeline vs. The Machine, by performing at the Pinnacle for a couple of nights.
After his second and last night, Church didn't want to stop performing. So, like anyone wanting to keep the party going, he went back to a bar. But not any bar, his own one, of course.
Chief's really seems like the place to be. If you don't have a country star lobbing chairs off the balcony, you'll have Eric Church performing. Considering that he actually owns Chiefs with a friend of his, it's no wonder he keeps coming back.
Anyway, while he was at the bar, performing and having a good time, a fan shared some incredible news with him. As Eric Church was signing things given to him by fans, one fan yelled over the noise to say, "I'm getting married!"
Church looked over with a grin before saying, "Don't do it."
He sauntered off as those who heard the joke laughed. The clip was shared to TikTok by someone close to the fiancé.
Not Something His Wife Would Want To Hear
Eric Church dissuading a fan from being married wouldn't make this wife's cut of 'things she'd want to hear.'
The Chief has been married to Katherine Blasingame since 2008, which isn't bad at all as far as country marriages go. Together, they've had two children, Boone McCoy Church, 13, and Tennessee Hawkins Church,10.
Of course, I'm sure his wife will see the humor in the joke. I mean, they have been happily married for 17 years.
Maybe the fiancé will be better off heeding Church's actions rather than his words on this one.
The TikTok was captioned "Celebrating your bachelor weekend in Nashville at Chief's with Eric Church himself," so I'm sure it's too late to back out now, anyway.
