Beyoncé's fans are criticizing one country music star, after he publicly slammed her Cowboy Carter album. Gavin Adcock made headlines recently, after he criticized Beyoncé, with the entire tirade caught on video.

"There are only three people in front of me on the Apple Music country charts," Adcock says in part. "And one of 'em is Beyoncé. You can tell her that we're coming for her f***ing a**."
Later, Adcock posts a video explaining himself, and explaining why it is not country music, according to him. "It doesn't sound country. It doesn't feel country, and I just don't think that people that have dedicated their whole lives to this genre and this lifestyle should have to compete or watch that album just stay at the top just because she is Beyoncé."

While some agreed with the rising star, others were quick to jump to her defense.
"He's 25 years old," one person writes, adding he is only three years into his career. "He shouldn't have to compete with people who are legendary multi-genre artists with a house full of Grammys! Gavin should only have to compete with other drunken viral video stars."
"This grown southern black woman has been making music her whole life," another posts. "She doesn't need your approval. ALSO y'all wouldn't have country music, Elvis or a hound dog if it wasn't for Mama Thornton. So learn the history of the music you're claiming and learn to have respect for a grown woman who's minding her own business. And y'all 'coming for her' to do what?"
"Saying a black woman who was born and raised in Texas, who grew up going to Texas rodeos, and was told at the start of her career that her accent was 'too country' now she's not country enough?" adds a third. "Your music sucks and that has nothing to do with Beyoncé."
One person even claims Adcock said it just to get attention.
"I mean talking about Bey is the only way you were gonna be known so we get it. ... She still came in and knocked the doors down and that will never be taken away," one fan writes.
