Add Darius Rucker to the list of artists who are offering a refund after losing their voice during a show. Only a few weeks after Luke Bryan did the same thing, inspired by Luke Combs, Rucker is now giving his fans a full refund after a show on Saturday, July 12, did not go according to plan.

"Atlantic City. Thank you so much for coming out Saturday night," Rucker shares on his Instagram Story. "I feel awful and I'm so sorry - I have never lost my voice in all my years of performing."
Sadly, due to Rucker's rigorous touring schedule, fans will not be able to have a redo of his show this year.
"We looked at every option to reschedule, but unfortunately, it's just not possible this year, so we're issuing full refunds," Rucker reveals. "The venue will send details to you directly".
Rucker concludes by offering a heartfelt message to his fans, who were understanding and even sympathetic.
"Thank you so much for all your kind messages wishing me well," he writes. "Love y'all and see you soon!"
What Happened To Darius Rucker In Atlantic City
Rucker is at least to be commended for attempting to put on a show, in spite of being under the weather.
"Y'all I can't sing anymore," Rucker said, only three songs into his set (via PhillyBlurbs.com). "I will play one more song. I promise you we're going to figure this out."
"This never happened," he added. "I physically can't sing ...I will make this up to you."
Rucker reportedly ended his shortened show with "Wagon Wheel."
"It was clear that he was really heartbroken," one New Jersey fan said. "I'm sure he'll be back. It'll take some time for them to figure it out."
Rucker will be getting a lot of airline miles while on tour. The Hootie & the Blowfish singer recently revealed he moved to London.
"I've been a traveling musician all my life. I'm living in London while working on some new music and playing some shows," Rucker wrote. "Always been on the bucket list — but don't get it twisted y'all ... nothing will ever replace the Carolinas and it is still home. Thanks for believing in me and supporting my music wherever we make it! Love y'all!"
Rucker should have a few days to heal and get better. His next show isn't scheduled until Saturday, July 19.
