Gavin Adcock Slams Zach Bryan For Disappointing Fans

Gavin Adcock is speaking out against Zach Bryan, who recently made headlines for all the wrong reasons. A 14-year-old posted a video calling out Bryan for not meeting fans who waited four hours after one of his three performances at MetLife Stadium.

"We waited until 4:00 AM, the teenage fan posted in a since-deleted video (via American Songwriter). "Zach Bryan driving away from his fans that waited 4 hours to meet him; he didn't even roll down his window to say hi."

In a separate post, the fan says, "We waited 3 hours outside to meet Zach Bryan and he completely blew everyone off and drove away like a jerk, meanwhile he got out of his car to meet fans Metlife N1," referring to his first show.

The video quickly went viral after Bryan, instead of being apologetic, criticized the fan for being upset.

"You're not entitled after someone plays two and a half hours to a picture or a hello ... I went out and took pictures both night one and three," Bryan writes. "I had a third show the next day and it was late, needed to rest."

Gavin Adcock's Response To Zach Bryan

Adcock didn't waste any time calling Bryan out for his rudeness, posting a scathing response on social media.

"If you can't handle the criticism of a 14 year old why do people idolize you?" Adcock writes. "That kid was head over heels to meet you and spent/ parents spent a ton of money to see you. He's got feeling too and a you're a 'grown man' nearly 30. "They're the only reason you are around."

Both Adcock and Bryan have been vocal about their love of country music, but that appears to be where the similarities end.

While a few people sided with Bryan, most people praised Adcock for his response, especially since the fan was only 14 years old.

Adcock isn't a stranger to controversy either. He recently made headlines for criticizing Beyoncé and her Cowboy Carter album. Later, Adcock clarified his comments.

"It doesn't sound country, it doesn't feel country," he says in part. "And I just don't think that people that have dedicated their whole lives to this genre and this lifestyle should have to compete or watch that album just stay at the top just because she's Beyoncé."
