We've all read stories about singers onstage getting hit with objects thrown by overzealous fans. That is scary. And dangerous. Not to mention rude in the extreme. It has happened again, this time to Koe Wetzel. Per American Songwriter, he was performing in Redmond, Oregon, at the FairWell Festival. A rambunctious concert-goer threw their beer his way. Unfortunately, it caught Wetzel squarely on his hand. Ironically, at the time, he was singing "High Road," which he recorded last year with Jessie Murph. "...[T]he singer didn't miss a beat or a chord. He simply kept performing, aptly singing about taking the high road." Wetzel deserves kudos for keeping his cool even after being the target of a flying object.
