And here I was thinking that people smoked weed at a music festival! I apparently could not have been any more wrong.

Music Festival Movement Center
Does everyone remember Tomorrowland? Yeah, the electronic dance music festival that's about to take place in Boom, Belgium. (I feel the need to point out that 'Boom' is the perfect location to host a music festival at. That's like a music festival being hosted in a town called 'Pop Music'.)
Well, it turns out Tomorrowland is not making headlines just because its main stage almost burned down. (Yeah, does everyone remember that?)
But apparently, there is now a gym at this EDM festival. I know, right? Imagine going to the gym, but instead of throwing in your earbuds, you're just listening to heavy bass music live. That honestly sounds fantastic.
It looks like they even do some version of group sessions, too?
Gym time at Tomorrowland! Honestly, claps for the commitment ? @tomorrowland
Yes, I am just as surprised as you are, trust me. X is not the only platform it's taken over, either. Instagram also had its own input to give about the new workout center in Tomorrowland.
Honestly, what surprises me the most is how embraced these fitness centers are. Just look at the caption for the Instagram post. They've written "the Tomorrowland fitness zone proves the festival life is about balance too".
Hm, and here I was thinking it was about listening to music you can go deaf to.
The People Love The Gym
You will not find a more surprised person than me going through the comments on those posts. I seem to have let the pot-smoking music festival stereotype eat at my brain for too long.
One commentor posted, "Strength training first, then cardio on the dance floor!" Which, is kind of an amazing way to workout I can't lie. But a little surprising for this group.
A lot of people were in the same boat as I in the comments. Completely confused as to what the market for Music Festival gyms is.
One commentor posted, "How was the festival? It was good, I was at the gym ..." And honestly, as funny as that is, there's some truth to that. Maybe you should go to the music festival to enjoy the music?
