Country Singer Forces Fans To “Hug It Out” After a Fight Breaks Out at His Show

Wade Forster used this technique to get two guys to stop fighting at his concert. This rodeo cowboy stole our hearts with this one.

It seems like this summer, every other concert has consisted of beer throwing, fights breaking out, and people borderline getting thrown off the stage. If you've seen any footage from a Gavin Adcock concert lately, you know precisely the kind of rowdy behavior I'm referring to. So, really, it should have come as no surprise when a fight broke out at a Wade Forester concert over the weekend. However, his response to the incident honestly might be the best I've seen.

On TikTok, user Faith Fullmer (@faithfullmer) shared a clip from Forster's concert in Salt Lake City, where a fight broke out between two friends. Forester puts a pause on the show, kneels on stage to meet the level of the audience, and attempts to sort out the mess between two guys fighting in the front row. Fullmer captioned the video, "Another reason to love Wade Forester. He broke up a fight at his concert in SLC and stressed the seriousness of how one fight can ruin a night in more ways than one. BEST CONCERT EVER!"

In the video, you can hear the country singer speaking to the men, and you can tell that he's really trying to make a point.

"Hey, bygones are bygones. Shhhh! Listen! Listen. I've lost too many friends over sht like this, fighting over stupid sht like this. Don't worry about his brother, I'm serious. Shake hands. I actually want you to hug now. Hug, hug. Hug, dude!" Forster kept insisting that the guys hug it out. He told them, "Hug him back; otherwise, you're out. Dude, Wade Forester shows are not f***ing fighting shows. Okay? You promise me you're going to behave."

It seems like, ultimately, the singer was able to get the two guys to hug it out and apologize, after many, many attempts.

Wade Forster Is Part Time Rodeo Cowboy, Part Time Country Star

A rodeo cowboy at heart, Australian native Wade Forster is no stranger to the kind of crowds that go causing trouble at concerts. After spending years on the circuit, he's definitely seen a thing or two. Therefore, it makes total sense why he was able to handle this moment with such grace. The "Fighting Tears" singer even asked for the names of the two guys that were causing such a rucus, and shared a little bit about his background.

"What's your name? Eric, please behave. What's your name? Hey! I'm talking to you. Angel, you two behave. You know, why? Because I'm from Australia, right? And when sht goes to fighting, the whole f*ing place gets a sht vibe. I'm being dead serious. Can you respect me? I flew a long way to be here. Please, no, I want you to stay and have a good time. Dude, hug it out...that's what we like to see."

The way that Forster handled the situation at his concert was honestly perfect. He turned a bad moment into a memorable lesson, one that he was able to personally relate to. This moment at his show seemed like it was one that hit home for Forster, and we're honestly just glad that he was there to break up the fight.
