Considering what recently happened to Treaty Oak Revival frontman Sam Canty, he probably wishes he were in Riley Green's shoes.

The "Worst Way" singer has nipple covers and other lacy underthings tossed his way. Other country artists haven't been so lucky. They have to deal with beer, bracelets, and other items thrown in their general direction.
It's gotten to the point where artists like Zach Bryan have had to stop a set. While Gavin Adcock encourages his fans to get rowdy, Braxton Keith is actively trying to keep projectiles from being thrown in his general direction, and he's not afraid to end a show if fans can't control themselves.
Treaty Oak Revival definitely falls into the Adcock camp, and that stance hit the "Ode to Bourbon" band square in the face.
What Is a Treaty Oak Revival Show Like?
Nowadays, some country concerts are becoming more like the punk rock shows in the 1970s. They're rowdy, raucous, and depending on where your seat is, physical.
A Treaty Oak Revival show is a prime example of this trend. The band's mix of southern rock and outlaw country brings out the best (and worst) in the fans who often drive for hours to see them perform.
Apparently, the beer-throwing at shows got so out of control that the group has limited it to just one song, "Boomtown." Tossing a can of brew while Treaty Oak Revival performs the 2021 hit has become a welcome ritual at every show.
Blame It on the Alcohol
In a clip shared on social media from a South Carolina show over the weekend, Treat Oak Revival began performing "No Vacancy," the title track of its latest album. Just as Canty launches into the song's chorus, he takes a can to the cheek. It was thrown at such a high velocity that it knocked his mic off its stand.
After picking up the mic, Canty gets right back to the song, completely unfazed.
While fans admired Canty for not pulling a Braxton Keith and ending the show altogether, many took to the comment section to share their thoughts on what happened.
"I respect that man's patience. I couldn't let that one slide."
"Nah because why didn't he address that it's so disrespectful."
"I will never understand why people think that's okay, even if some say they created that atmosphere... Still not a cool thing to do."
No matter where you stand on tossing beer at concerts, just be safe and maybe stick to throwing your underwear at your favorite band.
