"It started out, I was driving a rental car around the country. And then we finally got the church van with a U-Haul. And then we upgraded to a bandwagon, our least favorite. It was all of us on one bus. I was sleeping, not even in a bunk; I was sleeping in the back. And now we're here, sold out at Red Rocks. I just wanna start this show by thanking y'all so much for being here and for all your support and allowing us to live out our dreams. Thank you so so much."

Moroney then went on to play some fan favorites, including "Indifferent" and "6 Months Later", as well as an unreleased gem title "Beautiful Things". The song's headline show debut was a peek into what the vibe might be like for Megan's third studio album, which already has two other confirmed tracks, "6 Months Later" and "You Had To Be There" with Kenny Chesney.

Moroney Sings for Her Young Niece in 'Beautiful Things'

Moroney first shared "Beautiful Things" with a large crowd in Charleston, South Carolina, in September. The song is close to her heart, as she wrote it for her baby niece, who had just turned two at the time.

"I have a little niece, she just turned two a couple of days ago. And I have a nephew, and I love him so much, but there's something about seeing a baby girl that's just perfect and angelic." Moroney got vulnerable about what it's like to be a girl in today's world, sharing how "One day somebody's not gonna invite her to a party and, inevitably, she's gonna get her heart broken one day." Moroney said she felt like she had to write a song, "so [her niece] can listen to it when that happens and she feels no sadness ever."

The country star then played "Beautiful Things" for the first time to a very attentive crowd, and it seemed like the song was well-received. Playing it again at her show in Colorado, Moroney once again gave her fans something to be excited about, with the release of a new album looking promisingly on the horizon.
