Megan Moroney always keeps it real, especially when it comes to her dating life. Lately, fans have been creating theories involving Moroney with Nick Bosa of the San Francisco 49ers. Rumors started flying when Bosa was spotted backstage at one of Moroney's concerts. And when Moroney posted a picture of a San Francisco 49ers jersey on her Instagram, fans went wild. Bosa and Moroney, who are both 27, also follow each other on Instagram.

Even though the evidence for a possible romance is there, Moroney has been pretty straightforward about dating this year. It seems like she's not looking for anyone at the moment.
The "Tennessee Orange" singer even shared in an interview with Rolling Stone that, "I really don't have time for it right now. I tried dating for a second, and then I quickly realized that now is not the time." She said of her album, Am I Okay?, "I think in the album, you get that vibe. The love songs were very short-lived!" Moroney even candidly shared, "I could not imagine going through the past year if I was upset and crying over a dude."
Megan Moroney Encourages Fans to "Not Put Too Much Pressure" on Themselves
At a recent show in Portland, Moroney had a conversation with her audience about dating in her life right now. She managed to simultaneously address Nick Bosa rumors and shared her thoughts on romance in general.
She told the crowd, "I would say just don't put too much pressure on yourself because growing up, I thought that I would literally be married and have children by the time I was 25." Moroney admitted, "I am 27 and I am not even dating anyone." She encouraged her fans, "Whatever timeline you have in your head, just throw that out the window. Try to enjoy life and find things that are fulfilling to you."
It seems like Moroney had been taking her own advice as of late. Focusing on her career has really paid off, as the singer is currently tied with both Ella Langley and Lainey Wilson for six nominations at the CMAs. This includes both nominations for Album of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year.
She said of a recent VMA win, "I get asked a lot what accolade or any sort of award means the most to me, and I just think it always goes back to you guys and how you relate to my music and how you scream every syllable of every word on tour."
Even though seeing Moroney get her happily ever after would certainly be fun for fans, I think we can all appreciate that she's at the top of her game right now. And the "6 Months Later" singer is not about to let any man stand in her way.
