Fans of Bon Jovi are elated to hear that the band is touring next year. That is the good news. The bad news is that it appears that Richie Sambora, 66, will not be with them when they hit the road. Per Parade, the band let the public know about the upcoming tour on Instagram on Thursday, October, 23. An image of the poster for the tour was there too. But one band member is not on it - Sambora.

The Forever tour begins in July at New York's Madison Square Garden, evidently without him. They will also stop in London, Dublin, and Edinburgh.
Jon Bon Jovi Says He Is "Deeply Grateful"
A post from Jon Bon Jovi , 63, reads as follows. "There is a lot of joy in this announcement - joy that we can share these nights together with our amazing fans and joy that the band can be together. I am lucky enough to be able to hold a light out to the audience each night and stand in their reflection for a tremendous collective experience - I get to stand in the WE of our concerts."
He added, " And I've spoken extensively on my gratitude but I will say it again, I'm deeply grateful that the fans and the brotherhood of this band have been patient and allowed me the time needed to get healthy and prepare for touring. I'm ready and excited! - JBJ"
The post also mentioned, "Sign up for pre-sale ticket access now on bonjovi.com. Tickets on sale 10/31."
Fans Are Excited but Sad That Richie Sambora Will Not Be There
The comments from fans poured in after the announcement of the tour. Many were thrilled. Some however, lamented Sambora's absence. They also implored the band to visit other countries, such as Brazil and Argentina.
"Call Sambora!!!!"
"We're gonna be there singing along to every word. Glad to have you back onstage and giving us the ability to see you live again. We believe in you."
"We will always be here for you, Johnny. I can't wait to see you again. I love this band with all my heart!"
"You Sir, and your family have wonderful talent as well as a wonderful heart."
Don't Expect To See Sambora Joining Bon Jovi in the Future
Per TMZ, "Sambora left the group almost 15 years ago, and our sources point out ... that chapter in the group's history is done and over." It's a shame not to have him along, but the band will probably put on knockout concerts just the same.
