Kyle is the 34-year-old son of Todd Chrisley and his first wife, Teresa Terry. Kyle has had a few run-ins with the law, once in September of 2024 and again in March of 2023.
It all started earlier this month, when Kyle's wife, Ashleigh, made a 911 call to officers in the area claiming that her husband was acting "belligerent." Upon their drive to the home, officers reported that Kyle was immediately aggressive with the three deputies, injuring and punching them.
RSCO Sgt. Brady Greene said, "When attempting to speak with Mr. Chrisley, he became immediately aggressive, charged at deputies, and began to throw punches and assault deputies."
Authorities also say that Kyle was intoxicated, having drunk approximately 64 ounces of beer the night before. Currently, he faces the following charges:
- Assault on a First Responder(Felony)
- Retaliation for Past Actions (Felony)
- Domestic Assault (Misdemeanor)
- Resisting Arrest (Misdemeanor)
- Disorderly Conduct (Misdemeanor)
- Public Intoxication (Misdemeanor)
Kyle was released on an $88,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on January 27, 2026.
Chrisley's Currently Involved in $1.7 Million Lawsuit
Kyle was also arrested in September of 2024, on charges of aggravated assault, as well as misdemeanor resisting arrest. Chrisley and his wife are still involved in a $1.7 million lawsuit stemming from this case.
Back in September, deputies claim that Chrisley grabbed a knife from a toolbox and attempted to stab a mechanic, who suffered an arm cut as a result. Chrisley denies this, saying that he acted in self-defense at the time. Deputies also claim that Kyle resisted an arrest by tensing his arms and refusing to be taken into custody, which required officers to get him on the ground to complete the arrest.
In May of 2025, Kyle's father and his current wife, Todd and Julie Chrisley, were pardoned of their own previous charges by President Donald Trump. This followed their serving two and a half years in prison for bank fraud and tax evasion.
