"Blue Christmas" by Elvis Presley

This gem from the King of Rock and Roll remains as adored today as it did when he recorded it in 1957. Presley's trademark swoony voice and the heartfelt lyrics combine for a romantic tune about love and longing that is guaranteed to get couples beneath the mistletoe. Surprisingly, however, Presley was not too keen about the song at first. Backup singer Millie Kirkham claimed that Presley said, "Let's just get this over with," when he arrived at the studio to record it.

"That Crazy Elf (On The Shelf)" by Brad Paisley

This comic co-write from Brad Paisley and Chris DuBois relates the mischief caused by an uppity, irrepressible elf. The elf gets into one scrape after another. Per iHeart Radio, he even turns the tables on Paisley! It's all in good fun, though, and will make holiday revelers of all ages smile. The charming toe-tapping beat will coax you onto the dance floor.

"Christmas Cookies" by George Strait

When you hear this perky tune, it's easy to understand why the legendary George Strait just earned a 2025 Kennedy Center Honor to add to his awards collection. It's classic country all the way. The bouncy music and the descriptive lyrics about the tasty treats that the narrator's lady love is baking could make anyone's mouth water. A sweet one from the iconic King of Country.

"Mary, Did You Know" by Clay Aiken

Aiken, who finished second to the winner Ruben Studdard years ago on the second season of American Idol, has a sumptuous voice. He makes the most of it on this moving song. Dramatic, powerful, and intense, few have surpassed Aiken's cover of the exquisite seasonal song. It brings a tear to the eye. He puts everything he has into it. The result is absolutely masterful.
