The Arrowhead Stadium employee was working on her end of season to-do list for the last Kansas City Chiefs home game of the season. As she began speaking with her co-workers, a Christmas surprise took place. We have the details below.

Taylor Swift Wished Employees a Merry Christmas

Gentry caught Donna Kelce, the mother of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, out of the corner of her eye. Following her was Travis and his fiancé, billionaire pop star Taylor Swift.

The "Shake It Off" singer was wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. She then walked up to Gentry. She smiled and said, "Thank you so much for working on Christmas. Please take this."

The couple did this for other stadium employees. Gentry was stunned by the scene.

"My mind just froze," Gentry said. "Of course, I said. 'Merry Christmas and thank you so much.'"

In the employee's hand was $600 in cash.

"My whole paycheck for two weeks," Gentry explained. She shared this in a post in a Swift fan group on Facebook. The post also featured a photo of a framed $100 bill. Gentry said she "had just dropped that much for Christmas for 8 kids" right before receiving Swift's tip.

"I immediately started crying," she shared. "So I came home and can't bring myself to spend it. So I framed one. Still haven't spent any."

"Taylor and Travis are beautifully kind people," she said. "It's very true, incredible and very kind people. Merry Christmas and happy birthday to me."

Swift Made Gentry's Holiday

In an interview with TMZGentry said this year's Christmas was especially tough. Five of her kids had lost their grandmother unexpectedly this year.

"Grandma was the one that made everything magical," she said. "She was the one that made Christmas great."

Gentry decided to give the kids the best Christmas she possibly could, so she took the money she had saved and went all out. But thanks to Swift, she now had something else to give them: a great tale to share.

She said, "I don't think there was anything else I could have done cooler on Christmas but come home with that story."
