Ivanna Ortiz, 35, is accused of firing multiple shots at the property earlier this month. Prosecutors described it as a potentially deadly incident.
Ortiz now faces 14 charges, including attempted murder. There are also 10 felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm.
Rihanna targeted in alleged shooting at Los Angeles home
If convicted, Ortiz could face a maximum sentence of life in prison.
Prosecutors allege that the Orlando native fired around 20 shots at the property while Rihanna and her partner, A$AP Rocky, were present on the grounds. No injuries were reported.
Images from the scene show damage to the front security gate. At least one bullet reportedly struck an Airstream trailer parked in the driveway.
During Ortiz's arraignment, Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman revealed that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were inside the trailer on the property at the time of the shooting.
"Rihanna told police she heard the sound of several rounds hitting the trailer, and opened the curtains to find bullet holes in the windshield directly in front of where she was standing," France24 wrote on the incident.
"She said she got A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, out of bed and told him they were being shot at as they both ducked to the ground, before rushing inside the property to make sure their three children and staff were safe."
Hochman also stated that several others were inside the main residence. This included the couple's three children, Rihanna's mother, and two staff members.
Court Denies Bail Reduction as Investigation Continues
When Ortiz was first taken into custody, her bail was set at $10.2 million, according to The New York Post.
That amount was later reduced to $1.8 million, with a further reduction request denied by Judge Theresa McGonigle, per Reuters.
"This is the kind of conduct that easily could have resulted in numerous homicides," Deputy District ?Attorney Alexander Bott said at the court hearing.
Authorities say Ortiz left the scene following the alleged shooting. Officers later located her roughly three miles away during a traffic stop in Sherman Oaks, in the San Fernando Valley.
Police reported that she was found in possession of a rifle, ammunition, and a wig.
