After Recent Concert Incident, Braxton Keith Apologizes to “Absolutely Nobody”

Braxton Keith recently made headlines for his attempt to teach a rowdy audience the finer points of concert etiquette.

Braxton Keith probably doesn't care about your opinion on how he handles an unruly crowd. That's what we can insinuate from a recent social media post the "Cozy" singer made last week.

What Happened With Braxton Keith?

After seeing some cans of beer tossed in his direction at a show in Gilmer, Texas, Keith put his foot down.

"I didn't come here to get beer cans thrown at me, alright," said the singer. "This isn't a goddamn Gavin Adcock concert, okay? Don't be throwing f***ing beers out here. These people at the front are gettin' wet up here and it's gonna piss them off and it's gonna piss me off...I just want to get myself clear. I'm not Gavin Adcock, okay. I'm Braxton motherf***ing Keith, okay?"

The incidents involving unruly crowds haven't been limited to the Lone Star State. Keith also made headlines at another show in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

"Y'all, I know most of y'all are behaving yourselves tonight," he admonished. "But there's a bunch of people up here that are having a good time, and then there's a bunch of beer throwing."

"I don't come to y'all's jobs and do anything like that to y'all," he added. "So until y'all can learn some concert etiquette, my name is Braxton Keith. Thank y'all for coming out to Ardmore, Oklahoma, tonight."

Does Keith Have a Point?

While some believe Keith is trying to protect himself, his band, and the audience, others feel his decision to end the concert entirely may be excessive. As noted in the caption on the referenced TikTok video, "I'd like to see this man at a college football game."

When discussing a similar incident that happened at one of his concerts, Luke Bryan called those who throw things at artists "idiots."

"It's the deterioration of the moral fabric of how your a** ought to act," he added. "This is not a new thing."

Sounds Like Keith Will Continue To Enforce Crowds How He Likes

In a recent social media post, Keith appeared to reiterate his point about unruly crowds. As he shared some shots of himself performing on tour, the singer added the following message:

"I'd like to take this chance to apologize... To absolutely nobody"

For those attending a Keith show, this should serve as a reminder to keep your beer in your hand.
