Bad Bunny Mysteriously Takes Down His Instagram Posts After Buzzed-About Super Bowl Halftime Show

Bad Bunny is now easily the most talked-about artist in the world. So why did he suddenly remove all the posts from Instagram?

Bad Bunny must be basking in the aftermath of his megawatt performance at the Super Bowl halftime show. Some absolutely loved it. Others were up in arms. One thing is for sure. Today, he has to be the most famous artist in the world.

But there is one place that you will not find Bad Bunny right now. That is on Instagram. For some unclear reason, the Puerto Rican rap star (his actual name is Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio) removed all his posts from that platform. Is Bad Bunny, 31, prepping for a major announcement? Or is he perhaps sidestepping mass pushback over his glitzy appearance at Levi's Stadium that polarized the public? He has over 50 million followers who are surely very puzzled.

Bad Bunny Only Left the Bare Bones of His Instagram Account

There is hardly anything left now. Call it a clean sweep. Take a look. It says, "No posts yet." The profile image is gone. The postless page feels oddly bereft. It's like walking into a familiar dwelling and finding the furniture, rugs, and photos whisked away. As People pointed out, "Bad Bunny did not announce to his 50 million followers why he was undertaking the major overhaul before deleting almost everything."

His Appearance Drew Raves and Also Got Roasted

It's hard to recall another performance that got so many reactions from both extremes of the spectrum. President Donald Trump, for example, was not impressed with the rapper at all.

He wrote on Truth Social in part, "The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn't represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence. Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children....There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a Halftime Show...."

Others rhapsodized about the upbeat halftime gig with its joyous vibe. Meghan McCain observed on X, "I'm sorry but I just genuinely question your taste level if you didn't enjoy the Bad Bunny halftime show." Piers Morgan jumped on the Bad Bunny bandwagon too. He wrote on X, "Couldn't disagree more, Mr President. I absolutely loved Bad Bunny's halftime show ... Oh, and Spanish is 1st language for 50m+ Americans!"
