Bailey Zimmerman Reveals What He Did That Has Changed His Whole Life

Bailey Zimmerman is a much healthier - and better - version of himself than he used to be. In a recent social media post, Zimmerman reveals that he is happier now that he gave up alcohol.

Zimmerman captions a video replying to a comment by someone who says, "You look so much happier." He responds by saying, "Yeah, TBH I quit drinking all the time and that has truly changed my whole life."

Alongside the video, Zimmerman explains his decision.

"No judgment towards anybody but I wouldn't change it for anything... My life has been so much better," he writes.

Zimmerman isn't the only country artist who is sober. Charles Kelley, Tim McGraw and Keith Urban are just a few of the singers who have given up alcohol.

Bailey Zimmerman's Collaboration With Luke Combs

Zimmerman's career is at an all-time high. The 25-year-old has already had four No. 1 hits, and is back in the Top 15 with "Backup Plan," a collaboration with Luke Combs.

Turns out, Zimmerman already had the song completed, and sent it to Combs via text message to see if the superstar wanted to join Zimmerman on the track.

"it's crazy to think that this all started with one text," Zimmerman writes on social media. Zimmerman shares screenshots of the text exchange as well, which show Zimmerman's initial question to Combs.

"I don't know what you got going on this year as far as music," the rising star says. 'But I've been wanting to send you this song for a while that I think me and you could crush... jam it and let me know what you think."

Fortunately, Combs loved the song, and immediately agreed to be a part of it as soon as he heard the song.

"Yo. This tune rips," Combs responds. "I'm in."

"Backup Plan" is from Zimmerman's sophomore Different Night Same Rodeo album. The record, which also includes "Ashes" with guest artist Diplo, is scheduled to be released on August 8.
