Adcock has earned attention—and money—by selling T-shirts with his mugshot, taken after his arrest on Interstate 40 in Tennessee on May 21 for reckless driving and open container violations.

The 27-year-old posted a $1,000 bond and was released the next day. The charges were dismissed in August.

Tod, who has spoken out against the "Own Worst Enemy" singer's antics over the last several weeks, has a T-shirt of his own, released about three months ago.

Given the context, this may seem like a rebuttal to those willing to don Adcock's s***-eating grin on their person. However, the shirt was released months before Tod's tiff with Adcock. Proceeds will help with Nat Myers' medical expenses.

While the front pocket sports Tod's logo, the back of the shirt has this slogan on the back: "PISS ON BRO COUNTRY."

How Did This Rivalry Between Benjamin Tod and Gavin Adcock Start?

We reported a few weeks back about Tod's "pretentious" (his word, not ours) thoughts on the current state of country music.

While he didn't mention anyone by name, the member of the Lost Dog Street Band did call out "white boys with mullets" who "sing about evading domestic abuse charges and DUI charges regularly."

Then, on a clip from the Whiskey Riff Raff podcast from Nov. 4, Tod spoke about performers who grew up on TikTok and don't have a "real grassroots understanding" of country.

He added they "didn't fight for a decade and pay their dues and eat s*** at dive bars for a pitcher of beer and $75 for playing three hours for years." Again, Tod didn't reference Adcock by name.

However, that didn't stop Adcock from chiming in. He replied, "If you played for $75 for years and years, you need a new job."

Tod Says He'll See Adcock At Stagecoach

Shortly after, Tod replied to the comment with a new rant stating that Adcock "cannot represent country music."

"You know how many years Willie Nelson burned up the road?" added Tod. "Don't get me started with The Louvin Brothers, Waylon, Johnny, everyone, and 95% of our industry, you just insulted. Because it shows this clear divide where you have no f*****g concept of the relationship between talent and success, and the inequalities that exist throughout this industry that lend like someone like you getting power easily.

He then added that Adcock has "no concept of hard work" and is "a lazy, stupid, shiftless motherf****r."

"You don't represent Christians, and you don't represent country music," he concludes. "I'll see you at Stagecoach motherf****r."

Are you Team Tod or Team Adcock? Now you can show your allegiance by donning one of their T-shirts. The battle begins at Stagecoach on April 24.

Until then, you can catch a snippet of Tod's latest single, "Hell I Have", below. It will be available on Dec. 5.
