The war of words between Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose continues.

The couple split and divorced in 2024. Since then, their relationship has been frosty, with both sides making accusations of abuse.
In a recent video on her Instagram page, Firerose took another shot at Billy Ray.
"If you've survived narcissistic abuse, you're not alone," she wrote in the caption. "It's chilling how similar survivors' experiences really are. Behind closed doors, it's always the same playbook. Control, isolation, rage, manipulation, walking on eggshells, cognitive dissonance, feeling like only person on the world that can be experiencing what you are. But I promise, God sees everything and there is a light at the end of the tunnel. You are far stronger than you think. Love is always still real, even if what you're experiencing right now is abuse, not love."
In the video, there are multiple clips of Firerose looking visibly upset. There are also shots of her and Billy Ray together, with Firerose often looking uncomfortable. One of the on-screen captions reads, "In your 20s, you'll meet a 49-year-old man who convinces you you're his soul mate. It's very important that you don't believe him."
Billy Ray Cyrus Has Recently Been Dealing With a Bizarre Lawsuit
Outside of his issues with Firerose, Billy Ray Cyrus has also been dealing with a bizarre lawsuit from a woman by the name of Jayme Lee, claiming that she is Miley Cyrus' birth mother. The woman claims that Billy Ray has broken the terms of their adoption agreement.
Lee claims that she would have had naming rights for the child and the ability to visit after the agreement. The lawsuit was reportedly filed in May of this year. Billy Ray swiftly filed to have the case dismissed. The courts agreed with Bill Ray and have since dismissed the suit with prejudice. Therefore, the case cannot be raised again.
Nevertheless, the lawsuit was the latest speed bump for Billy Ray following his divorce.
Miley Cyrus recently got engaged to Maxx Morando. Maybe now, Billy Ray can hope for a period of calm in his personal life, so that he can help plan and enjoy his daughter's wedding.
