It turns out Blake Shelton has a pet duck, but it's been displaced in a recent bout of terrible weather. Despite this being a serious occasion, the video he made announcing the disappearing duck is utterly hilarious.
In the clip, he shows an upturned duck house, some ways from the river. The storm really sent the thing flying; I just hope the duck wasn't inside the house when it got blown away. It's possible the duck was away when the storm struck, but wherever it ended up isn't known to Shelton.
"I don't have a clue where the duck ended up," he laughed, surveying the scene. "But that's Oklahoma weather for ya."
He then riffs an absolute bar literally out of nowhere. I didn't think he'd burst into song about his missing beloved duck, but I'm glad he did. It's brilliant.
One more joke he piled onto the situation was in the caption of the post. "If yall see a duck in eastern Oklahoma or Arkansas that answers to the name "Trace Adkins Is An A--hole" please return him. Long name I know.."
