These questions just scratch the surface of the gossip swirling around the "I Am Not Okay" singer, Jelly Roll, and his wife, Bunnie XO. To address the rumors directly, rather than letting the "haters" spread more gossip, Bunnie XO sat down with Michael Sawyer, the owner of a polygraph service firm in Tennessee, to set the record straight about what's true and what's merely rumor.
Why Are People So Concerned About Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll's Lives?
Both Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO have been pretty up front about themselves and their relationship from the beginning. Jelly Roll opens up in his music and interviews. Bunnie XO, whose real name is Alyssa DeFord, created the Dumb Blonde podcast. On it, she candidly discusses her life journey while hosting guests ranging from country singers to reality TV stars.
DeFord has struggled with addiction, but stopped using pills and cocaine in 2017 and alcohol in 2018 (until a few weeks ago, anyway). She also had a career in sex work before Jelly Roll's music began climbing the charts. She shut down her OnlyFans site in 2023.
How Did the Lie Detector Test Go?
The first few minutes of the video outline the process of Sawyer setting up the polygraph, including verifying that DeFord intends to answer the questions truthfully.
"There's no lie that will ever get past Michael Sawyer," said DeFord.
Once the setup is complete, the interrogation gets underway, and it does not start out with any softball questions.
"Are you in an open relationship?"
"Are you and Jelly swingers?"
"Do you force fans to come backstage with Jelly Roll?"
DeFord answered no to all three questions.
Some others addressed DeFord's past.
"Was Robert Kardashian Sr. one of your clients?"
"Do you have any current sugar daddies?
Again, DeFord answered no to these questions.
Some were, quite frankly, out there.
"Are you in the Illuminati?"
"Did you really shave your vagina lip off?"
Both questions brought a smirk to DeFord's face. However, she answered no to the question about her being part of the most secret of societies. But she answered 'yes' to shaving off part of her lady bits.
What Were the Results?
The whole questioning took about 10 minutes, and it seemed like Sawyer was able to share the results in just a few minutes.
"It is in my professional opinion that Bunnie has been truthful concerning the issues that we discussed today," he said.
"I f*****g told you, b*****s," said the vindicated DeFord. "You guys should never ever doubt me. I'm never going to lead you astray."
