Former American Idol contestant and rising country music star Sarahbeth Taite has welcomed her second baby alongside her husband, Colby Shaw. The married couple previously shared how they were ready to welcome their daughter after they made their announcement back in July 2024.

"Simply obsessed," reads an Instagram story caption written by Taite. In the story, you can see Shaw holding their newborn baby girl, completely in love with her. While the couple hasn't posted about their second daughter's birth, it is safe to say that they are extremely happy and, of course, extremely busy with their little girl.
Six days earlier, on January 15, the couple shared a video of the baby's nursery. "See you tomorrow baby girl," reads the post. If confirmed, this would mean that Taite and Shaw's second baby's birthday is January 16, 2025. Surely a date the couple will never forget!
Even before that, the Taite shared photos and videos of their holidays on Instagram on January 5. Taite, Shaw, and Isla are shown in a picture on their house's porch, visibly happy. "Can't believe this was our last holiday season as a family of three," Taite wrote. "10 days (at the most) until we meet our littlest girl!!! If you need us, we'll be on baby watch!"
A Second Baby
Back in July 2024, Sarahbeth Taite and Colby Shaw announced their second pregnancy. With video footage showing the couple and their 2-year-old daughter Isla at a picnic, the couple also revealed the sonogram pictures of their then-unborn baby. "We got babies growing like weeds," Taite wrote at the time.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Taite talked about her second pregnancy and the excitement she felt about it and her daughter Isla becoming the big sister. "I can't believe we get to bring another tiny person into the world," Taite told the outlet. "Colby and I are so excited to watch Isla become a big sister and to watch these babies grow up together. Grateful is an understatement!"
"Preparing to release my new EP project about motherhood, family, and my journey to getting here," the now-mother of two continued. At the same time, I get to grow my family and raise TWO babies with my best friend. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world."
