One thing we've come to know about Dolly Parton is she really tries to avoid politics. I'm sure presidents over the years have clamored for the Queen's cosign. But she's just never budged on her commitment to never pick sides. The most 'political' thing Dolly has ever said was pleading with a governor to fund reading for children. That's less politics and more plain decency and consideration for the youth. Otherwise, we don't really know what she thinks on the state of the world right now. However, her sister Stella is especially vocal about how America operates, with several fiery rants on X after Trump's second election win. Now, she's back for more.

Recently, Parton took to Twitter to unload about how she feels about America right now. After watching the news, she spills about how it makes her sick watching injustice reign supreme. "The bullying is sickening and the spew from the mouths of these sociopathic people in charge is stomach turning every hour of every day. God only knows how this will play out," Stella tweets. "So how do you feel about it trying to start a new week? I feel like a sewer truck just emptied itself on the highway and every single one of us has to drive through it!"

Parton's criticisms and frustrations stretch out across multiple tweets too. One particular tweet sees her target Elon Musk, where she questions his legitimacy in anything governmentally related. Since he wasn't voted in or formally appointed anything, it strikes her as bizarre that he's got his own agency within the Trump regime. "Since when did Americans have to answer to Elon Musk in order to stay employed?" Stella writes. "Does anyone else find this to be the epitome of arrogance to have to justify yourself and your employment to a man who is not your boss?"
One thing about Dolly's sister is that you can check her Twitter profile and see her post like this. Moreover, Stella stresses that sharing information is her one way to combat the evils of the country. "I've appointed my snarky a** self to give a perspective as much as possible as long as possible, realizing I may be kicked off of every platform for simply telling the truth. This is my form of resistance!" she adds.
