Being a celebrity seems wild. You never know how much you can truly get away with. With all the woes and the invasion of privacy that comes with fame, it also comes with a ton of liberty. When you're Don Johnson, that sort of pull sees him capable of hanging out at the White House. He would do some cool and wild stuff around the president as well.

Recently, the Miami Vice icon spoke with Jimmy Kimmel on his late night show. There, he opens up about how the incredible popularity of the show allowed him to frequently visit the White House. Apparently, he's being doing such a thing Jimmy Carter's presidency. That's all fine and normal, Don Johnson is a public figure. I see Kid Rock hanging out with Donald Trump enough not to bat much of an eye. However, it's what the actor gets away with that's shocking.
Don Johnson Remembers The Times He Was High at The White House and Would Gamble With Presidents
Kimmel and co. brought up a picture of Johnson with president Jimmy Carter, Chuck Leavell and Dickey Betts at an Allman Brothers concert. Admittedly, he can't remember too much of that time because they were all high out of their minds. "Well I don't know about [Jimmy Carter]. I don't want to cast any aspersions on the former president. God rest his soul," Don says.
Afterwards, he sheepishly mentions the fun he had at the White House once he came in office, smoking weed in the Oval Office. Then, Johnson talks about the relationship he had with George H.W. Bush. Though Bush wasn't quite the stoner like Don was, he does recall getting into gambling in their time together.
"He wanted to gamble when we played golf out at Camp David. And so I took his money," he recalls. "I'll tell you something else: He's a trash talker, and he ran into a buzzsaw because so am I." Unfortunately, Don can't claim to taking the president for all he's worth, mostly just lunch money. But who knew you can get high and frisk the president in a bet?
