Either way, you might be concerned to learn that the breakout star, who captured the hearts of many with his stories and quirky sense of humor, is experiencing trouble breathing and had to be hospitalized this week due to sinus problems.

In 2022, the then 74-year-old shared on his podcast that he would be getting surgery for an underperforming lung. Robertson had struggled with breathing and lung problems previously, which were made worse by a COVID-19 diagnosis in 2021. Before, the reality TV star had talked about his struggles with smoking and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). This likely contributed to his current issues.

On Wednesday, Robertson's co-host, Justin Martin, shared that Si had been hospitalized unexpectedly. Martin also said that Si was "doing very well" and that more updates would be shared in a future episode.

"Before any rumors get started," he shared, "yes, Uncle Si is in the hospital. He's doing very well but was having a little trouble whooping a severe sinus infection. He's very much on the mend and will be discharged soon."

Fans were quick to show support for Uncle Si, citing their favorite moments from his time on reality TV. Referencing his iced tea obsession on Duck Dynasty, one fan commented, "Get that man an extra strong batch of iced tea n he'll be good to go." Another fan said, "Hey Jack, feel better! I'll bring the tea!"

More Updates on Duck Dynasty: The Revival

It seems like Uncle Si is on the upswing, and hopefully, just in time for season 2 of Duck Dynasty: The Revival, a Duck Dynasty reboot.

On January 22, 2025, A&E announced that Duck Dynasty would be rebooted, with a new season set to air in the summer of that year. The new season of the show featured 20 episodes and premiered on June 1, 2025. The season premiere drew around 510,000 viewers, a strong rating for A&E's current lineup. However, a critique from many fans was that much of the original cast, like Jase and Jep, were nowhere to be seen.

In a recent interview, cast member Sadie Robertson shared that fans could expect "more original cast members from the original show on Season 2," which is currently being filmed.
