CBS has announced the lineup for New Year's Eve Live, and it includes the following.

An incredible lineup full of popular stars and singers that we're used to seeing this past year.

More details have been revealed about the event, such as where the stars will be performing from.

Headlining from Bicentennial Park are Jelly Roll, Keith Urban, and Kane Brown. Keith Urban will also be hosting the show with Entertainment Tonight host Rachel Smith. Parker McCollum will be performing from the Brooklyn Bowl.

The broadcast is set to last for a whopping five hours. It will start, naturally, on December 31st, from the CBS Television Network (8:00-10:00 pm, ET/PT, 10:30 pm-1:30 pm, ET/PT). The show will also be streaming from Paramount+.

More details may be revealed as we head closer to the event.

Another Celebration To Country Music

This year has treated country music fans pretty well, and although New Year's Eve Live isn't a strictly country event, it's a Nashville event, so the country is mandatory.

It's great to see country singers that have seen a surge in popularity this year, such as Zach Top and Jelly Roll, as well as long-time giants such as Lainey Wilson and Luke Bryan.

The last time we had this many country singers in the same space was at the CMAs. That event had its lowest viewer count this year, however, with some controversy surrounding Morgan Wallen's absence. Despite him being the biggest thing in country music right now, with his absurd number of record-breaks, it's no wonder he wasn't invited to New Year's Eve Live.

Especially now that he's been convicted guilty in his chair-throwing-incident.

There is a lot to celebrate this year, and a lot to remember in what has been an eventful year. Let's hope the event does country music justice and reflects on the tumultuous year we've had.
