Fans of The Kelly Clarkson Show were surprised at her absence from her show on March 3rd with a last-minute host change. Now, her absence has been extended, and people are beginning to get a little worried.

Initially, Kelly Clarkson missed an episode of her show, subbing in Simu Liu at the last minute. Even he was surprised, saying "I did not know that I was doing this until about five minutes ago when I arrived to promote my new movie, 'Last Breath.' I'm here now, and look, I'm not one to back down from a challenge."
His impromptu hosting of the show came with little explanation. All we got was that "Kelly isn't able to make it today. We're sending her our very best," from Lui.
Since then, there has been an absence of Kelly Clarkson from her show for a week. More concerningly, there has been no explanation given for the cause of her absence. TMZ has told fans that she is well and will be back this week. "She's been dealing with a personal matter that does not directly involve her," they revealed.
Audience Demands Explanation For Kelly Clarkson's Absence
Although TMZ has addressed her absence from The Kelly Clarkson Show, people still want more information. On a post on the show's Instagram page, nagging fans demand more information. "We love Kelly and respect her privacy but yall definitely need to put out some sort of statement because this is worrisome," one user comments, clearly not respecting her privacy.
The host is allowed to take some time off. Constant appearances are quite demanding, and sometimes life throws a curveball that needs dealing with. However, when you're in the public eye, privacy goes out the window.
Another fan of the show gives her support for whatever Kelly Clarkson is going though to keep her from her show. "Oh, bless Kelly. I love seeing everyone rallying, "You don't owe us an explanation!!" Take care of yourself, sweet girl. I sure hope everything is okay."
She will be back soon, and maybe, if she feels like it, she will grace us with an explanation. But if you took a week off work, would you be expected to explain in detail what it was for?
