20th Century Studios posted the first trailer for Bruce Springsteen's biopic Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, starring Jeremy Allen White in the titular role. And apparently, fans aren't a fan of the casting.

I mean, you see Jeremy Allen White's face, and you just see Carmy from The Bear. Many believe the film didn't do enough to make the actor look like Springsteen. It's so easy to point toward Timothee Chalamet who did a stellar job as Bob Dylan. And by comparison, it's no wonder many are making fun of the casting here.

What's also not helped is Springsteen's recent comments. As many know, Bruce Springsteen has recently caught the ire of many of his fans after his anti-Trump comments at a recent UK concert. Suddenly, many fans have turned their backs on the singer.

Between the casting and the Trump comments, very few people are left with a positive stance toward the film.

Internet Reacts Strongly Against Bruce Springsteen Biopic

Under the trailer drop and Rolling Stone's post about Jeremy Allen White as Springsteen, many people shared their thoughts on the casting and the film.

If it's not someone upset about his political views, it'll be someone poking fun at the casting. And honestly, some of the jokes are pretty funny.

"So they didn't even try to make him look like Bruce?" questioned one.

"Wow that's amazing! He looks just like Jeremy Allen White," joked another.

"Will he play the young Bruce, singing about the struggles of the middle class, or the old Bruce singing about the struggles of the rich and famous?" attacked a third.

"Makeup looks good but i'm afraid Jeremy's distinct face shape will protrude and break the immersion," wrote a more diplomatic skeptic.

"I wonder if they were able to make the movie as boring as the music," another jabbed.

"Looks good but can't better CGI Monkey Robbie Williams biopic," sagely joked one more.
