Grammy nominee Halsey had to stray from their performance when a cameraman put themselves in danger trying to record them.

The camera crew at a concert can sometimes get in the way of your view. But one at a recent Halsey concert almost stepped in the way of the pyrotechnics, moments before they were set to launch. Had Halsey not intervened, some serious damage could have been dealt.
She was in Pittsburgh on June 14 and was singing "Without Me" when a fan in attendance managed to capture the moment Halsey had to jump to attention and physically move the wandering cameraman.
Crouched down, she waved their hand to signal to move it while quickly yelling "out the way!" but it wasn't enough. She had to spring to their feet to rush over before the pyrotechnics made an appearance.
"There's pyro coming, move!" she ordered as she ran over and physically moved the operator from harm's way.
Halsey made it just in time for the chorus that their audience was singing back to them. Despite the life-saving interruption, she immediately got back into the flow. You can watch the crazy moment below.
Fans Left Impressed With Halsey's Life-Saving Skills
It's kinda crazy to think that had Halsey not noticed, someone could very well be dealing with serious burns. Or worse.
Their fans took to the comments to share their thoughts on the moment.
"Damn, shouldn't they warn these camera guys where the pyro is gonna be?" questioned one, and I had the same question.
"Now he has a 'Halsey saved my life' story that has nothing to do with her lyrics healing him," joked another.
"This is so funny to me like who else is saving their crew during a concert, of course it's Halsey," wrote a third.
"Proof mic is always on," said another, using the moment to prove that Halsey never lip syncs her songs.
There were many in attendance of the concert who remembered the camera guy. And everyone commented on how he was always in the way. With that close call, I'm sure he'll be staying far from view now.
I guess without her, the operator literally couldn't have lived.
