Since the messy divorce with Billy Ray and his new relationship with Elizabeth Hurley was revealed, Firerose has spoken up about her ex-husband's new lover. The 37-year-old Australian singer seems to be focused on her own career and putting the past behind her.

A source spoke to People about what Firerose has been up to since Cyrus got with Hurley. "Firerose is currently focused on her music, which continues to inspire new souls globally every day," said the source. "She's rising in her next chapter of artistic evolution, which reflects the profound strength, healing and transformation she's been forged through."

They also mentioned that Firerose was "living her purpose by uplifting others out of the darkness with God's love at the forefront."
Firerose hasn't been the only one to heal after the break-up. A report claimed that 59-year-old Hurley helped the 63-year-old Achy Breaky Heart singer through the divorce.
"He has had a really hard time, but she has been there helping him turn things around," said the source. "She insists he has turned a corner and is a changed man."
The exes finalized their tumultuous divorce in August 2024, but it had been going on for seven grueling months. According to USA Today, there were abuse accusations from both sides.
Cyrus claimed Firerose's "allegations of abuse were only made to sensationalize her false complaints by using the word 'abuse.'" He said that Firerose "not only verbally and emotionally" abused him, "but also physically abused" him.
On the other hand, Firerose claimed in a divorce counter-complaint that she was the victim. The singer said she was "the victim of extreme verbal, emotional, and psychological abuse" at Cyrus' hands.
Elizabeth Hurley then hard-launched their romantic relationship by sharing a photo of her and Cyrus on Instagram. "Happy Easter," she wrote in the caption of a photo showing Cyrus kissing her cheek.
Although Cyrus has seemed to move on, Firerose is focusing less on romance and instead working on her music career. In early April, she released a single called RISE UP. With a new single out, it wouldn't be a surprise to hear about an upcoming album.
