The Flat River Band has come together to record an ode to the classic love tracks and old-school lovers. "Old Fashioned Love" is a song that'll be deeply relatable for those who appreciate the art of romance.

Releasing just in time for Valentine's Day, it'll be the perfect track to throw on when relaxing with your beloved. I have a feeling I know exactly the sort of playlists this song will be added to.

In a statement shared with WOC, ""Old Fashioned Love" is a nostalgic ballad that celebrates timeless romance, blending heartfelt lyrics with the band's signature harmonies. This track beautifully portrays the enduring power of love, making it the perfect anthem for Valentine's Day."

I couldn't have worded it better myself.

You can listen to the heartwarming song below. It will be available on streaming platforms on February 14.

Flat River Band Have A Love For "Old Fashioned Stuff"

I got the pleasure of talking the brothers three ahead of their release of "Old Fashioned Love" (and "Love Run," also releasing Valentine's Day!), where I asked them of any contributing inspirations.

"We love old-fashioned stuff," they said. "It rings true to the old-fashioned way" that they think is slowly becoming "forgotten."

Although they hold an appreciation for modern technology and the times, they harbor a special appreciation for the classic ways. "The verbalization, the 'in-person stuff' ... sometimes that stuff gets forgotten."

"It's easy to say 'I love you' over the phone, or 'I love you' via text," they say, but "that old-fashioned love I think resonates with me."

Their appreciation for the labor of love definitely shines through with "Old Fashioned Love." Many of you out there will relate to the message that the shared physical space between two lovers is the most important part of a relationship.

The song was written by Chad Sitze last year back in the Fall, and the band thankfully felt ready to record it just in time for Valentine's Day.
