"To my fellow TY fans, I sat and watched her sign albums one night at the house," Brooks shares on social media. "I jokingly asked her if she would sign one for me. She laughed and said if I wanted an album signed, I could click the link and buy one myself! Don't mind if I do!"
Brooks, a member of the prestigious Songwriters Hall of Fame, knows a thing or two about writing songs., which is why he is so proud of his wife of almost 20 years, as she readies the release of The Mirror.
"I've never been more excited for you, Trisha Yearwood," Brooks boasts. "You've outdone yourself! The Mirror is my FAVORITE album you have EVER made...the world is lucky to hear your voice, your stories and your soul in this way. This album, like you, is a gift to all of us! Love, me."

Yearwood has been part of country music for almost 35 years, but The Mirror is still an important milestone for her. After releasing more than a dozen albums, Yearwood finally decided to write the songs herself, for the first time ever.
"I've written some over the years, but I always would preface it with, 'I'm not a songwriter,'" Yearwood says on the Today Show. "And I think I had this aha moment. I turned 60 last year, and I highly recommend it. Everything sort of opened up. Somebody had told me in college that I was not a songwriter, some guy. And bless his heart ... he probably wouldn't even remember saying it."
Yearwood has always been able to put her own spin on a song, but feels even more proud now that she wrote the songs she is singing.
"For the last 30 years I could always go, 'That's a really personal song, but I didn't write it, so it's not about me,'" Yearwood shares. "And now everything has a little piece of me in it ... It's just another layer when you actually have a hand in writing the song."
