It's great to be ultra practical. That must be country singer Gavin Adcock's guiding rule. For example, when he got arrested not so long ago, he made hay out of the experience, so to speak. Adcock slapped his mugshot on t-shirts and began selling them. Thus far, he reportedly has hauled in a cool $150,000 from his clever re-purposing of the jailhouse snap on a garment.

Adcock Was Recently a Guest on Bunnie Xo's Podcast
The singer stopped by Bunnie Xo's Dumb Blonde podcast a few says back. He opened up about some of the notable scrapes he has been embroiled in. Adcock described his situation that got him temporarily behind bars.
He said he was working on his precious ride, a Dodge Challenger. Adcock tossed an empty beer can in the front passenger seat. The following day, he got begin the wheel in Tennessee and took the vehicle out for a spin. Adcock was nabbed by a police officer. He was charged with having an open container and reckless driving. His five-hour prison stint led to the creation of a song called "Morning Bail."
He Incurred Some Whopping Bills
It was a costly incident, according to Adcock per the podcast. "Yeah, they go, 'How did that work out for you?' I said, well, considering that I had to, when they towed my car, they drove it at the impound lot. Or took it for a drive, messed up my motor. I had to get a new motor for the car. I had to pay my ticket, and then I had to pay like $4,000 in lawyer fees, so I'm $24,000 in the hole from that."
Necessity being the other of invention, Adcock got to work. "But I've probably sold about $150,000 worth of mug shot tees since then. So there's little kids and husbands and wives wearing my face on the couch right now, or out to dinner. So it just worked out."
This is a definitely a land of shrewd innovators and bold entrepreneurs, so I guess Adcock falls into those categories. His Morning Bail tee is the proof.
