It's not been an easy few months for the Duck Dynasty clan. Patriarch Phil Robertson is in poor health battling both Alzheimer's as well as a blood disease.

"I was like, 'You know, your memory is not what it once was.' He's like, 'Tell me about it.' So, he is literally unable to — I think he would agree — to just sit down and have a conversation," Jase told listeners of his father.
Phil's son Al also added, "There'll be some days he's a little better, a little more with you. And other days, not so much."
Doctors diagnosed Phil with Alzheimer's. Recently, the celebrity has been struggling with his memory and walking. However, according to Jase, they're not 100 percent if he has Alzheimer's or possibly had a series of mini-strokes due to his blood disease condition.
He said, "We've got a team of doctors. And then we have another set of doctors who are looking at all the tests, and they're all in agreement that there's no curing what he has."

Meanwhile, Willie Robertson spoke with Fox News about his dad's condition.
"He's got a blood disorder. And then he's got the mental issues that could be early [onset] Alzheimer's ... and probably some ministrokes because of his blood," Willie said. "And so, it could be some stroke stuff happening, that has happened. So, we're still checking on all that. But then he also has a back issue, he's fractured his back and that's where the pain's at. So, he's kind of battling many different things at the same time."
"It's hard with the mental stuff," he continued. "It's hard to determine exactly what these causes are, especially with early signs, it's hard to determine brain damage from stroke or is that Alzheimer's?"
According to Willie, doctors are trying to figure things out.
"There's a couple of issues that we're trying to get to the bottom of, which is maybe where some of that's coming from. It could be the pain, but also with the blood disorder that has created some things that could be dealing with that as well," the former reality star explained about Phil's health.
Meanwhile, the Robertson family is focused on the time they have left with Phil. They want to make the most of it.
"They want to give him the best life they possibly can under the circumstances and check in on him often and take him out for drives in the woods to reminisce about the good old days and make sure he's getting the best care," the insider exclusively told In Touch.
"It's hard on the whole family and no one knows how much time Phil's got left. But they're making every moment count," the insider added.
