There are a lot of ways you can spin this next story about Ringo Starr.

You could call it a classic case of the younger generation not knowing their elders. On the other hand, maybe it's an allegory about how living your life online keeps you from missing what's going on around you.
Ultimately, it's simply about someone not recognizing when musical greatness is right in front of him.
How an Influencer Didn't Recognize Ringo Starr
Ed Matthews is an online influencer who first came to prominence for his fitness videos. He later became involved in influencer boxing matches, knocking out Simple Simon in the first round.
Recently, while livestreaming at a VIP lounge in London's Heathrow Airport, Matthews had an unexpected encounter. That's when a mysterious masked stranger asked if he was "on the radio."
"I'm just gamblin', mate," replied Matthews. "Where are you from?"
"I'm from Liverpool," said the stranger. Then the stranger's wife asked if Matthews was sick. He said he was "a tiny bit" ill, so they left the scene.
As soon as the couple left, the chat went nuts, and Matthews realized he had missed something.
"I don't know who the f**k they are, bro," said Matthews. "I ain't gonna lie... Wait, who was that guy, bro? 'Beatle Ringo?' Who is that guy, man? 'Cause, I'm not gonna lie, his wife was like, very classy. So he must be pretty high value."
Reality Soon Hits Matthews
If you haven't figured it out by now, Matthews ran into Ringo Starr. His wife is model and actress Barbara Bach, who is known for playing Agent Triple XXX in the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me.
Matthews came to this realization probably after performing some Google searches. This probably made things less awkward for him later when he ended up sitting next to Starr on their flight to Los Angeles.
Of course, the internet had a field day with this. One user on Reddit wrote, "This video is probably the first time someone has asked Ringo where he's from in 65 years."
Another added, "To be fair, as dumb as this is, this might be a nice encounter for Ringo. Someone who genuinely has no idea who he is, so who just treats him like a normal person."
So instead of putting a spin on this story, let's just call it a nice human moment for a living legend.
