If you're a parent looking for ways to be a cool dad, then you'd better start taking some cues from Jason Aldean.

Brittany, Aldean's wife, recently shared some photos on Instagram Stories. In one, the "Whiskey Drink" singer is pictured working at the school book fair, standing behind the register dressed in a camo T-shirt and holding a scanner. Brittany captioned the pic, "Not me signing us up to work the book fair," humorously revealing she had volunteered them both for the event.
We have to admit, the thought of Aldean ringing up a third grader's copy of Captain Underpants brings a smile to our face.
Just Another Glimpse Into the Life of the Aldean Family
As many fans know, Brittany's social media offers an inside look at the Aldean family's day-to-day moments.
The family lives in Columbia, TN, just outside Nashville. Their two kids, Memphis and Navy, sometimes go to school in person and sometimes do homeschooling, depending on whether Aldean is touring.
The newest member of the Aldean family won't be heading to school any time soon. We reported last month that Brittany became a "pig mom" to Betty.
No word if Jason has built Betty her "piggy Taj Mahal" yet. Brittany explained in another picture that, for now, Betty's room will be outdoors in a fenced-in area on the grounds, complete with a custom placard. With Jason dividing his time between being a country superstar and volunteering for the book fair, Betty could remain outside for the time being.
Brittany Often Captures The Softer Side of Jason Aldean
We also reported back in July that Memphis spent the night in the emergency room because of a broken collarbone. Because Memphis was fine, but Dad did give him some ideas of what to tell his friends when they saw him in a sling.
"Tell them you were wrestling alligators," said Aldean.
Memphis knew none of his friends would believe that story, but then he started thinking about how many of the big-toothed lizards he could take on.
Of course, one has to wonder where Jason got such an outrageous idea. Perhaps the inspiration came from a book his parents got him from the book fair.
