Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo Are the King and Queen of the Prom Thrown by Daughter Bailee Ann

Since they never went to their own prom, Bailee Ann threw Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo their own bash with an "Under the Stars" theme.

Jelly Roll and his wife Bunnie Xo went through a lot when they were growing up.

The "I'm Not Okay" singer became involved with crime and drugs at a young age. He was first arrested at 14. By 16, he was facing charges including aggravated robbery. In fact, before becoming a country music superstar, Jelly Roll was arrested around 40 times, primarily for drug-related offenses.

Bunnie Xo has struggled with addiction, but stopped using pills and cocaine in 2017 and alcohol in 2018 (except that one time in Rome). She eventually found her voice on her Dumb Blonde podcast, candidly discussing her life journey with friends and guests.

The couple has worked together to move forward with their live and give back to the community. However, it was Jelly Roll's 17-year-old daughter, Bailee Ann, who gave something to her dad and Bunnie that they never had growing up: a prom.

What Was the Theme of Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo's Prom?

Bailee Ann surprised Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo with an "Under the Stars"-themed event. It had all the makings of a memorable high school dance: colorful balloons and party decorations, a huge banner, and a DJ spinning slow jams all night.

"Bailee has always hated school dances," Bunnie wrote in a post. "But because J and I never went to ours, we've always pushed her, 'Go make memories. Go have the experiences we missed.'"

What Did Bunnie Xo Wear to the Prom?

Bunnie Xo wore a long, flowing blue gown. Jelly Roll was dressed all in black, all the way from his cowboy hat to his boots.

It should come as no surprise that the couple were crowned king and queen of the prom. The two enjoyed a slow dance after receiving their crowns. After a long year, Bunnie Xo said Bailee Ann's loving gesture was a welcome surprise.

"Schedules, mental health, burnout...all of it," Bunnie said. "What we walked into stopped us in our tracks — a room full of friends and family... A prom/birthday party she created for us. She crowned us King and Queen, and we danced and sang like teenagers who finally got their moment."
