Jelly Roll Makes Fans Go Wild While Riding An Imaginary Pony On Stage

Jelly Roll wants his fans to have a good time, even if it's at his expense. While performing "Get By," as part of Post Malone's Big Ass Stadium Tour, Jelly Roll asked fans "Y'all wanna see a fat man ride an imaginary pony?"

As the crowd cheered, the Nashville native did just that - pretended to ride an invisible pony, to the delight of the audience.

Clearly, Jelly Roll's fans not at the concert also liked his performance. The clip boasts more than 146,000 views.

"Get By" is on Jelly Roll's latest Beautifully Broken album. Jelly Roll is one of the writers on the song, along with Ryan Tedder, Michael Pollack, Stefan Johnson, Jordan K. Johnson and Jon Bellion.

Jelly Roll's Weight Loss

Jelly Roll might call himself a fat man in the viral clip. Still, there is a lot less of him than there used to be. The father of two has already lost more than 200 pounds, with a goal of shedding even more.

While Jelly Roll struggled with his weight most of his life, it was a seemingly innocent moment that gave him the inspiration he needed to finally get fit.

"A little bit over a year ago, I literally struggled to walk down my hill to the mailbox," Jelly Roll says in a video posted on YouTube earlier this year. "It was really bad."

"I had let myself get to a point of just being really absolutely disgusted with myself," he continues. "I'd spent three or four years 'pretending' to try and work on my weight, and on my health. But I never actually really dug my heels in the ground and did the work."

Jelly Roll already looks considerably thinner. But his aspirations for losing weight are for much more than just appearances. The 40-year-old reveals he has a big goal of doing one thing, which he has not been able to do because of his obesity.

"I'm gonna lose another 100 pounds, and go skydiving with my wife in Sweden," Jelly Roll tells Pat McAfee.

Skydiving isn't the only thing the singer wants to do as a thinner man.

"I want to skydive, I want to ride a roller coaster, I want to ride a bull," he says on Jimmy Kimmel Live, he says admitting that it sounds "crazy." "I want to wrestle an alligator. I've got a list of things that I want to do."
