Jelly Roll Says His Marriage With Bunnie Xo Is Only Getting Better With Time

Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunnie Xo, have been married since 2016. It's a long time for a celebrity marriage. Fortunately Jelly Roll says, in many ways, the two are only going closer the longer they are together.

"I guess we went through the hardest [stuff] the first few years because, man, it's only getting smoother," Jelly Roll says on the podcast, The Pivot (via People). "It's not even more like I'm just settled in. Like, it's not even that old stale marriage where they're just like, we're roommates."

Jelly Roll proposed to Bunnie Xo while on stage in Las Vegas. Their relationship came long before Jelly Roll had any success. In fact, he was actually living out of a van when they met. But now that he is a country music superstar, their love for each other has only grown stronger.

"We're just really getting better ... That's my partner," Jelly Roll boasts. "I used to hate it when people go, 'That's my person.' But I'm like, she's my person."

With nine years already of being a husband, the "Heart of Stone" singer says he has learned a lot about marriage by being with his wife.

"I learned something in marriage," he says. "Anybody who tells you, 'It's a one size fits all,' [are gonna] get divorced ... I can tell you that much.

"Anybody who thinks their marriage is a one-size-fits-all kind of glove, that's ending in the next decade for sure," he continues, adding that people need to be able to evolve and change.

Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo's Journey To Becoming Parents Again

Jelly Roll is already a proud father to daughter, Bailee Ann and son, Noah. But the couple want to add to their family, which is why Bunnie Xo has been undergoing IVF to add to their family.

"I'm literally going through IVF treatments right now — the hormones, the shots, all that," she reveals. "I'm going through all of the emotions, the rollercoaster, [and] the worry, just so that I can have a little piece of my husband and me — just a little piece wrapped in skin— to just add to the other two beautiful children that we have together."

The couple has been open about their fertility journey. But when they do have another child, Bunnie Xo reveals on her podcast that they have zero plans of sharing that news with the world, at least for a while.

"You guys will know when the babies have been here for about six months to a year, and we'll just keep it at that," she says (via American Songwriter).
