Jelly Roll is currently living his best life while on his first-ever tour of Australia and New Zealand. He's been making appearances at festivals throughout the two countries, including Strummingbird and Harvest Rock.

Unfortunately, not all of Jelly Roll's experiences on the tour have been positive. On Wednesday, Nov. 5, the "Save Me" singer shared an Instagram Story revealing that Louis Vuitton staff had profiled him while he was shopping.
"Hey man, the Louis Vuitton in Sydney legitimately just treated us like we were finna come in and rob that place," Jelly Roll said. "I have never been looked at more like a crim...Listen, the last time I was looked at like a criminal this bad — I was an actual criminal this bad."
As a global megastar, it's hard to fathom how no one within the establishment recognized who he was, which makes the incident even more perplexing. Nevertheless, Jelly Roll appears to have seen the funny side of the situation, as proven by how he made light of the incident in his social media post.
Jelly Roll Has a New Nickname
During a recent motivational speech for the Tennessee Titans NFL team, Jelly Roll revealed that he has lost more than 200 pounds. He admitted that he has his eyes on losing at least another 50.
"I can't get on the field. Close. I lost 200 pounds," Jelly Roll said in his speech. "I told coach I'm getting a contract by losing another 50."
In a hilarious turn of events, his fanbase has now begun to refer to him as "Veggie Roll" on social media. That new nickname appears to have emerged while he's been on tour.
After such a significant weight loss, it's fair to wonder whether that played a role in the staff at Sydney's Louis Vuitton store failing to recognize him. However, given how heavily tattooed he is, even that feels like a stretch for an excuse.
Fortunately for Jelly Roll, millions of his fans can still spot him from a mile away, and it won't be long until he's back on stage with them all cheering his name and singing his songs. In a few months, his experience in Sydney will become just another funny story from what many would consider to be an opportunity of a lifetime.
