Jimmy Fallon Roasted Over Bad Singing While Performing On Dolly Parton And Mariah Carey Special

Jimmy Fallon debuted his "Holiday Seasoning Spectacular" Wednesday to some pretty stark reviews.

Fallon, inexplicably, decided to make a Christmas album, where he sang for essentially an hour straight. The poor guy isn't exactly a singer, and the internet reminded him of that fact. There were many celebrity guests, but they only managed to make the show barely tolerable.

Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, "Weird Al" Yankovic, and others partook in the festivities with Fallon, although did little to improve the special. I'm not exactly sure what prompted Fallon to produce and release a Christmas album, but he did, and everyone's suffering for it.

The internet being the internet, however, have ruthlessly torn the chat show host apart.

Internet Reacts To Jimmy Fallon's Holiday Seasoning Spectacular

X lit up like a Christmas tree when the NBC special was airing. The internet was quick to react.

"Watching Jimmy Fallon tonight on @nbc was more like watching a long drawn out disaster, one green screen awful act at a time... I think we're kinda all tired of the same LOW quality, BADLY produced shows year after year, with the SAME OVER-HYPED "celebrities." It's weird," aptly writes one. It sums up the special pretty well, unfortunately.

"This Jimmy Fallon Xmas special is bad. No great stars like Dolly can redeem it. The search for a Christmas ding-dong, really??" writes another, referencing the 'plot' of the special. Between the songs, Jimmy Fallon was searching for his 'Christmas Ding-Dong.' I guess it was supposed to be funny.

"What kind of blackmail does Jimmy Fallon have on NBC to keep getting all these jobs?" quips another.

"I am a sucker for Christmas programming and I'll tolerate just about anything, but what in the actual f--k is this Jimmy Fallon #NBCChristmasSpecial. Feels like experiencing a really bad trip that you want to end but it won't. And it's so bizarrely narcissistic that it grabs your attention and holds you... like watching a Xmas trainwreck," complains one more.

I'm unsure if it was just Fallon who thought this was a good idea, but I feel like someone should have intervened.
